How to install the downloaded content?
It’s very easy! Below you find the steps to have my content in your game.

1. You need to unzip the files you downloaded. I prefer WinRAR, but you can also use WinZip or StuffIt Expander.

2. Copy the .Sims3Pack file(s) to (Windows XP) My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads or (Windows Vista and Mac OS X) Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads.

3a. If you just want to install a single file, just double click on it and the installer will open, then click install.

3b. If you have more than one file to install you can open The Sims 3 Launcher. Click on Downloads and select the files you want to install and then click on the install button.

4. There is no step 4, you’re done! The only thing you need to do is to use the content in your game.

Where can I find the custom content in the game?
Where it belongs to be of course! No, seriously, it’s not that hard, but here is a list.

Objects – You can find these in the buy mode.

Sims – Go to Create-A-Sim and click on the button with the six silhouettes on it. The one that have the star in the corner are the one you downloaded.

Clothes – In the clothes section of the Create-A-Sim and in the menu where you can change the clothes of your Sim.

Buildings – When you start a new you game and see the town through bird-eyes you find all the pre-made homes in the menu in the lower right corner. From there you can choose a home and place it on an empty lot. You can find it on the same place in the edit town mode.

Patterns – You can see all the patterns in the Create-A-Style mode.

It doesn’t work on my computer, can you help?
I’m sorry, but the answer is no. It all works fine on my system, Mac and Windows. Downloading custom content is at your own risk, so I don’t take any responsibility for it.
